Anyone with an interest in skiing and snowboarding is invited to sign up for the Far West Snowsports Convention to be held in Ogden June 7 - 10, 2012. You can sign up as a

  • Delegate
  • Alternate
  • Non-Voting or Guest
  • FWSA Direct Member

A convention Delegate will have voting privileges at the Sunday business session. It is very important that delegates be designated by their club as a voting delegate on the Credentials Form and attend the Sunday session.

It is very important that individuals mark their delegate status on on the Delegate Registration Form.

New this Year

Far West has changed the registration process this year to Individual Registration. In other words, individuals submit their Registration Form and fees directly to the Convention Registrar instead of their club collecting all checks and submitting one club check. The club will still need to submit their completed Delegate Credentials Form to the Convention Registrar.

Optional Activities

Delegates can register for the optional activities NOW using the Registration Form anytime prior to the May 11, 2012 deadline. Many of these activities are limited and expected to sell out, so delegates should not delay in sending in their payment. Priority will be given to registered delegates and industry.

Convention Delegate Responsibilities

  • Participate in voting on Sunday during the business portion of the Convention.
  • Be cordial and respectful to invited guests and industry representatives.
  • Respect the industry seating arrangement (typically, two industry representatives) at each table for Saturday lunch and dinner.
  • Display honesty and integrity in representing your snowsports club to the industry.
