We visited Big White for the first time in 2001. We liked the ambiance and the quality of the skiing so much we came back the following February with 250 of our closest friends. Actually we were part of the Los Angeles Council of Ski Clubs, an organization of Ski Clubs in Southern California. While we partied, skied and played with our friends, we dedicated a part of every day to viewing the various properties in and around Big White.

We fell in love with Stonebridge Lodge at first sight, even through it was still a work in progress. We visited the showroom every day hoping that the builder would finally release units for sale. We closed escrow April 2002.

You might wonder why we would choose Big White. We have skied much of the world —Alberta, California, Alaska, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, Colorado, New Mexico, New Zealand, Australia, Italy, France, Switzerland, Austria, Chile, Argentina — to name a few. Frankly, the snow in Big White can’t be beat. We love the mountains, the terrain, the people and feel of Big White.
